Both are 3 stars on rivals. Robinson is unrated on scout.com

Knox is a TE that will play OL and Robinson is a tailback from Louisiana. 4 more commits expected tonight.

Edited to add: BDJ just did an interview with Robinson and he was clocked at 4.28 at multiple camps this summer. Offers from MSU, Oklahoma State, Alabama and USM.

"I can line up at slot receiver and burn the linebackers or I could line up at running back and run over the linebackers."

I changed that. Robinson has not been evaulated yet by scout.com and more than likely will be shortly. His scout.com video is very impressive for those with access to it.

A friend mine coaches at NW Rankin, and he thought Market was a damn good player. He said that he didn't have the measurables, but that he could simply play football.

I would expect James Maiden to commit, at least I would think he would, and I wouldn't be surprisedwith Morrow. Apparently Steve has been posting on Morrow's facebook page frequently (According to people on the spirit) so I would expect him to get the Chaz Ramsey treatment.

He would have probably gotten it at our other camp this summer, but he got sick and didn't make it down. Our coaches want to see him in person before making an offer.

I agree with your NWR friend about Market. He may not run the fastest 40, but when the pads are on, dude's got football speed. I can't remember seeing him get caught from behind. He's easily one of the top 10-15 players in the state, from what I've seen.

About who the best player in the state is or isn't. I thought Nick Parker in his Junior year was going to be one of the best players in the state his senior year. His senior year, he was pretty pedestrian, but his Junior year he was ridiculous. I don't know what to expect from him at Ole Miss.

Look at Knox, he could be the next Roland Terry or the next Addison Lawrence.Just depends on how he is used and how he develops.

I give this thread about two hours by the way. The original poster put a thread killer in his original post.

but i'm glad we are going to get a few commits out of this weekend. Maybe Knox will be a decent OT three years from now, and I don't really see any point in taking a RB this year.

I really wish Arrington and Brassell would have made it. I know we aren't going to get Brassell, but we needed Arrington to committ. We need some high-profile guys to pull the trigger soon.

corner isn't he? He ran a 4.41 at the earlier camp and made a big impression on the coaches. Am I thinking about the right guy?

pretty good athlete and turned a lot of heads. Im sure that they have a pretty good read on Cox because he's from West Point and Carr and Virges are familiar with his ability.

I have a strong impulse to edit your post and enter in our record for the last 10 years right under your statement.

We have already landed two 4-stars in Whitehead and Johnson and looks like we will add two more in Arrington and Morrow. aGAIN, what exactly are you expecting us to do? Sign a Top 10 class? Look, I am a bit of a recruiting junkie myself, and I wish we could sign 25 5-stars too, but I am also not surprised or disappointed when we dont get Parade All Americans at each position.

Knox is a good pickup. Robinson looks like a perfect fit for our offense.

In other news, Aaron Morris reportedly showed up decked in MSU, which can't be a bad thing.

He's spot on. Our record over the last decade has been poor. We are bringing in 3 start recruits with 4.4 speed. That's not bad. That's one thing that we didn't have under Croom. We did not have anyone that could make a 3 yard catch and turn it into 50 yards. We have that now and we are getting more of it. Julio Jones and AJ Green type players aren't considering us, but guys like Morrow (6-4 220, 4star) and Michael Carr (4.4 40yard) are. We were faster as a team last year and that improvement will continue this year.

Edited to add: A few of these negative posters are basically saying, "Ole Miss is getting higher ranked players and are beating us in the team rankings." These are the same people that probably have never heard of half of the guys that we are committing. Not saying that you have to follow recruiting 24/7, but don't bash when you have no clue. I'm not calling out any particular person on the board on in this thread. Its just "cool" to bash recruiting on here at times by certain people, but the people bashing tend to have no clue about the player being recruited/committed.

From BDJ. Maybe they and/or Robinson are liars.

"I saw that right away when I came to their camp in June," said Robinson, who has been clocked with 4.28 speed at several camps this summer

Even anOM fan can admit that Josh Robinson looks like a good RB. He has in no way, shape, or form ever run asub 4.3, but he is a damn good runningback. I'd say the 4.5 he has listed is more in line, but that is damn fast for a little bowling ball RB like him.

Knox could very well grow into a good OT.I say that, because I feel certainMullen will recruit more athletic TEs and he will move inside to tackle.

West Point alwayshas great talent. I'm sure Cox is a steal.

could be a slot guy. Doesn't need to play RB due to his propensity to reverse field.

He certainly appears to have 4.5 speed, which is moving in pads.

Not completely worthless. His punt return against Florida was huge (the one where the punter run him down from behind only to miss the tackle. Other than that worthless.

according to the LSU board.

His team opens against the number 3 high school team in the nation. Let's hope he gets a little blocking and doesn't get hurt.

according to olemissbydamn-"He has in no way, shape, or form ever run asub 4.3". Also studentdawg87 says no recruit runs sub 4.3 40's.

A least I guess I am since I don't know anything about either of them except for watching about a minute of the video on the guy from LA. But there is no 17ing way the guy from LA runs a 4.28, or even within 0.10 of it. No 17ing way. Doesn't mean he can't be a great player for us. All I know is Mullen wanted him and that's good enough for me. But this recruiting hype has gotten way out of control. How much longer until we see a sub-4.2 player? How much longer until we see a sub-4.0 player? Cause if this **** keeps going, we'll see that within a decade.

...nobody can catch him.

Just kidding. You are correct; there is probably one or two high school player(s) in the nation a year that can actually run a 4.28.

I highly doubt this guy is one of those one or two players.

If there's more than one or two people in the world that can run a legitimate 4.28 I'll be surprised.

..I'm just going with the old coach's saw that "every year players get bigger & faster."

I agree with that.

So I'll speculate that out of the untold thousands of high school playersthat are recruited every year, possibly 1 or 2 can run a legit 4.28.

But I still contend this guy is not one of those 1 or 2.
