I don’t recall him ever being salty after a loss here. He must be feeling the pressure in Jortsville.

He’s lost to KY twice in his tenure when they hadn’t lost to KY at all in decades. Effing glorious!!

I’ll bet within the next 2 years, this hunchback ******* will be coaching Jacksonville and will be dumped within 2 years. Then, on to the lecture circuit or South Alabama.

This. He was so focused on getting out of Starkville and going to a "blue blood" that he missed what was in front of him. If Mullen was coaching in 2018 the floor for that team would have been 10 wins in my opinion with a damn good shot at going to the SEC championship game. I hate he bailed on them like that.

I don't know what else you wanted him to do. He had the opportunity to coach Florida or Tennessee and he was going to take it. That doesn't happen often. Florida is about as big of a job as there is.

Wouldn't you rather be the headcoach of Oklahoma than Kansas State? Kinda the same thing.

He doesn't have to win out I wouldn't think, but he can't afford a loss to anybody other than UGA (who he is nto beating). If he goes 9-3, they may not love him, but he'll be fine. If he goes 8-4, he's going to legitimately be coaching for his job next year I think and another 8 win season gets him fired. I think he might could survive that if he didn't rub everybody the wrong way and reactc so poorly after losses like he did after last year's bowl game and the UK game this year.

I think this too. I've said 100 times that Mullen isn't a good fit at Florida. He doesn't utilize speed well enough, i.e. he's not maximizing his talent at Florida. Leach would actually be a better fit there.

And yes, Texas A&M is just a more rich Mississippi State, but with less defensive line talent (I think we have more of that in our state). They portray that tough image, but typically get out-physical'ed. Mullen would be perfect there, as he was also perfect here. He'd have been good at Auburn too.

He needs to get the hell out of Gainesville, and either try the NFL or go to the B1G.

He's also not recruiting well enough. Spurrier said it himself that he needed to get them in the top 5. Well he's averaging around 11 since he's been there and is 16 right now. Won't cut it. Now we all know this doesn't matter THAT much but it adds fuel to the fire when he's losing 3 games per year.

Jim McElwain did that while the side of the ball he was responsible for looked like ****, and then it looked even worse his third year. Again, I'm not saying they'll love him, but Mullen will be ok for next year if he wins 9 this year.
