I could easily see him coming out of retirement to coach the team he used to play for. Plus they are loaded with talent just waiting for the right coach. I have no idea how D'Antoni has managed to 17 this up with Anthony, Stoudemire, Lin, JR Smith, etc. He is the Stansbury of the NBA.
