Easy TD drop, but he is legit and kept his head up.
Darby is a stud. Unreal and I would say very rare drop by him today despite how big it was at the time. But he did not hang his head and was making plays the next time his # was called. He is a STUD and will be fed...
Good to see DJ Miller get touches. He was solid.
Darby might be the most talented receiver I’ve seen at UK since I started watching in the eighties. He or Wan’Dale imo.

With him and DJ Miller showing up big today, that is huge moving forward. I think the WR group has a chance to be quite good...you have those 2, plus
- Shane Carr who the coaches raved about in the preseason
- Nic Anderson who has the speed to take the top off the defense
- Brock Coffman in the slot
That, paired with the TEs, should give the offense legit balance to open up the run game.

A healthy Keenan Burton was elite, Randall Cobb was elite as was Craig Yeast are three more that quickly come to mind.
I like Patterson a lot. He needs more touches.
Sure felt like after last week they knew this kid was needed to combat elite athletes in opposing secondaries and used him as such.
Also tells you just how good that bama d really can be. This elko d was no joke and bama looked way better than them.
I thought that freshman Prince Jean looked pretty solid the first game too. Seeing the freshman talent he’s bringing in makes me excited for the future.
Cobb may still be the best overall offensive player I’ve seen at UK since I’ve been alive. He was so versatile.
Yeah Bama’s back line is elite. No question about that.

We haven't ever had a playmaker like Darby as long as I can remember. The plays he makes doesn't look like a UK player. And that's freaking awesome.

We got a steal in Darby. He’s the quick come out of nowhere superstar that makes it to the nfl as a olave type player. Hope he sticks around

Me too. I'm (of course) already dreaming about bigger things after Saturday. But even with Stoops' best teams we were having to play ball-control, limiting possessions; essentially "tricks" to get around the fact that we were outmanned and couldn't just line up and go head-to-head for 60 minutes. With Stein it's clear that we're coming after you. We made the right decision to play more conservative after we went up 28-7 with less than 15 minutes left, but our foot was on the gas until that point. Stein's offense is fantastic in that it is a perfect mix of taking what the defense gives you with the occasional well-timed big play shot.
He made up for it with the 42 yd juke TD catch.
lol Barion Brown was just here 2 years ago. Would have liked to seen what he would have done here with an actual passing offense considering what he did here under Stoops.

Speaking of forgotten about, Barrion Brown was returning kicks yesterday. Had a few good ones. He always had so much talent. I don’t know if he will ever get a shot at WR in the Pros, but he’s fast.
