Darius Rucker for SBW?

[Chem70]

According to Darius Rucker's website he will be at Mississippi State on April 18--which happens to be Super Bulldog Weekend. Has anyone seen an announcement that Hootie and the Blowfish or just Rucker will be performing for SBW?

As for Hootie, they unfortunately do not play together anymore. It will just be him and his band. They are also a country band.

I wish you could see the excitement I have for yet another country band.

However, Yonder Mountain is playing April 1st in the ampitheatre and that should be fun. To make this sports related, I can't wait for the baseball part of SBW.

I noticed that a couple of weeks ago. I read an announcement in the Reflector that said he was playing the music festival the weekend after. I hope his website is right. Having a decent name concert would attract more people if they would have the concert after the spring game. Have it on the field afterwards.

He actually still plays certain dates with the Blowfish as well. From what I understand, they mainly play around the Carolinas.

Screw that..

Panic is playing in Orange Beach that weekend. Sorry Hootie, but Friday night is spoken for. I'll be back for the spring game on Sat though.

Rucker was Hootie.

I think I would just retire.

the band's name actually came from other people - rucker was not hootie, although uneducated people often refer to him as such. the band had neither a hootie nor a blowfish.</p>

Widespread Joke and Education behind Hootie and The Blowfish?

hahaha

WSP died with Houser and SBW is about sports anyway, not some C list bands.

You are a very ignorant person to say Widespread died with Houser. My guess is you have a couple albums and have seen them once or twice and know its the hip thing to do to complain that he died
