Even with 3 former NFLers on the coaching staff?

I wish them nothing but the best and hope to see the Corsairs return to being a top-tier program.
Further, I hope that these guys that played the game at the highest level are able to effectively teach football to HS players.

5-4 is a 180...it just depends on how the WSS abuses Yorks Head Coach. He couldn't recover after the Glenbard West Humiliation last season after a great start to the season.

With that, I agree. York wont get past DGN, Willowbrook, Glenbard West or OPRF. Schaumburg, DGS and Lyons were basically Junior Teams Last Year, so the test is there. York has one of the Best O-Lines around. With that, if the coaching decides to throw more than 12 times a game, the 10 vacancies on defense from last year will be exposed. They have to control the ball and must have 2-3 6-minute scoring drives a game to pull this off. Gotta keep the D on the sideline until they mature. They have to use their best asset....the O-Line.

I have them at 7-2 this year - Fitz will know how to utilize the best strengths of his offense and the defense will be ok - it will not be the offense of some of Fitz's past Marist offenses but he will adjust - 7 wins

Not a 180 because they were good last year but watch out for Naperville Central. Always a good program and added on one of states best WR.

No...it became to obvious what was going on, so the AD...Lutzensomething...put the kabash on it. Maybe they ran out of addresses to use?

If Thompson is gone then I would say Marist will be a darkhorse. If he has returned per Opus then Marist should be expected to fight Naz for ESCC title

I think I stated when debouf got hired he would have Prospect in a quarterfinal within 2 years. Not sure if that will happen but I know 5-4 was just the start. I think they are a favorite in the east.

Agree that Prospect will be better but Hersey is the favorite in the East imo.

I stand corrected...a new address was found for him to use. Forget about being blatant or obvious. He did transfer.

I now think Marist could be considered a dark horse - they'll still have a lot of talent still. Depends now on how they use Jackson - at WR or QB. They cant have that kid bolt

Wont be a 180 team (7-4 last year)but Lake Zurich is loaded and has a very good coach. Not a lot of buzz about this squad, but might go the distance.
