You absorbed none of that. I shared an opinion, you disagreed and labeled me. Others proved my opinion to be common and shared. You then stated our opinions are wrong because they are not the opinion you shared, and not formed as you prescribed . This of course is, " players don't matter, coaches don't matter, schedules do. unless you're a homer, irrelevant (Sorry USD and mchsalum), Beth Long or Edgytim."

I thought you said you were done and that I could go after you one last time. Oh well. Glad you are still here.

Hey, I have a wacky idea. Now that you have skipped out of the DSR as a voter, why not participate in future DSR threads as a non-voter designated Naz homer? You can question to your heart's content why the majority of voters choose not to rank Naz. And you and I can completely avoid each other while we each do what we are called to do. Are you game?

FYI all, I just sent JCHILL an email telling him I'm out.

If ramblin wanted to question my picks, that's one thing. He insists on going after my character as a voter, so he can take all his coincidences, and his standards of the DSR, and have them. Not going to go through this season with him refuting what I say by telling me I am not objective. Question the team, not me as a voter.

i won't accept your resignation.

I have a better idea

Um, I never questioned anyone's votes. You did.

Please provide the ramblin approved DSR teams by Sunday, TIA.

So far in this thread, and just from what I can recall, I have been told that I suck and that I am a "contrarian ***," an "asshat," and a "dick."

DSR Vol. 2 is gonna be a hoot.

Ramblin,

Can you point me to a link to watch the full game against Rice? I have watched both the game against Wisconsin and Maine South, and thus have been underwhelmed by the play against grossly overrated teams. With that said I could not elevate Loyola above 5 in my poll!

Bump.

I miss this thread.

Full game? No idea. Edgy has clips on The Edgy Nation. Did you try looking for it in On Demand?

You were underwhelmed by their game with Rice? Even if you didn't see the game, did you see the score? LA pitched a shutout against a team that averaged 53 pts a game in their first two games! That's underwhelming? Rice's first game came against Rice of Michigan and the Crusaders raced out to a 42-0 lead against the Warriors before calling off the dogs and winning 56-20. Rice of Michigan has an all time winning percentage of .753 and has won 10 state titles and had only one loss last year. As for Chicago Rice being overrated, take that up with Bones. He has them at 7 in his DSR rankings this week, despite the Crusaders laying an egg in Wilmette this past Saturday.

Prior to their game against Loyola, all MS did was travel to Montini in week 1 and lose by 3 points. Then they lose a big game to Loyola and now everybody thinks they suck. Well, I don't. As for Loyola being underwhelming against MS, what more would you have wanted to see? Loyola beat MS by 41. Would 51 or 61 point margins be better in your book?

As for Marquette University High being overrated, all I know is they are 3-1 and are ranked #6 in the Milwaukee area this week by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel and #8 in the largest school division statewide LAST week in the wissports.net coaches poll. I guess you must have information about the MUHS Hilltoppers that those sources do not. Another underwhelming shutout. Another underwhelming five score margin of victory. Yawn.

If you are underwhelmed by Loyola's showing so far, then you must be a very difficult person to please.

I knew eventually we would find someone who would agree with Beth and the Sun Times Super 25.

MCHS,

Worse people to be lumped with than Beth for sure, as the year goes who knows where things will land. Many of the prognosticators had Wheaton North in the 5-10 range along with WWS, how do those projections look now? I'm not saying that Loyola isn't very good, maybe even great! But in watching the two complete games that I could find I just don't find them overwhelming like when watching HF or Montini thus far. Yes the scores are impressive but much like Edgy I'm yearning to see that "next level" play that thus far I have not seen. I'm still trying to sort out the BS about the Rice bus and how that effected the outcome as well TBH.

Ramblin'

Your Loyola boys may be great and I could be wrong, but thus far in my opinion, much like Edgy's I need to see more before I'm ready to put them above 5th. To your point about Brother Rice Michigan, yes they have a Rich History in a perineal strong program, but this year appears to be a down year with their only win against Elkhart Indiana and losses to Rice and Penn(Indiana). I need to see high level play on a normal basis from Loyola that I just haven't seen so far in watching the two full games available online. If you don't like my opinion that's fine, but much like yours it's not going to change until I see truly impressive game play not just a "high score".

@jwarigaku, you may want to revisit this or be lumped in with Beth. Not good on the credibility front here.

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. I am curious, though, who you have above the Ramblers and if you can explain how the schools above the Ramblers have met your standards of a high level of play against equal or better competition as the Ramblers have faced in the first third of the regular season.

Here are my top 4:

1)HF Like watching a video game and the best assembly of talent in the state
2)GBW They grind you to death and have broken big plays on both O and D
3)JCA Defensive and Offensive line to kill for with balanced offense and good defense
4)Naperville Central They get it done whether it needs to be a big offensive burst or big defensive stop

I have seen all these teams play live at least once this season, a ranking of 5 for your Ramblers isn't so bad considering who is out in front of them. I know you disagree with my assessment but then again you'd have to call yourself a homer on this topic!

1) On average, LA's first three opponents are substantially more competitive than HF's. The Vikes' toughest opponent this year has been Stevie, and the Pats' defense has been a sieve.
2) Again, I'm liking LA's competition here more than GBW's. Did the Brook really lose by 18 to Sandburg or was that a typo?
3) JCA's opponents are a combined 1-8. LA's opponents are a combined 6-4.
4) How does a team averaging 18 pts a game and managing only 13 pts against a 1-2 Glenbard North have big offensive bursts? Do you mean bursts or burps?
