Freshman running back Derrell Scott plans to transfer out of the Tennessee program, Vols coach Butch Jones told a Knoxville radio station Friday afternoon.
Jones broke the news himself during a Friday radio interview with Knoxville radio station WNML.
Scott, the nation's No. 121 overall prospect in the 2014 247Sports Composite rankings, fought through an injury-plagued freshman season with the Vols - first with a foot problem in preseason camp, then with a broken bone in his hand later in the season - and played just two games, collecting 40 yards on 11 carries.
