Heard Rovell (boooooo!) did a segment on how our success has translated into $$$$$$ for the university/town. Where can I find this video?

Thanks!

My hopes are that some outside people see Starkville for what it is through the lense of football and spend some money on development. I swear I lost my **** when I heard they were putting a Bonefish or whatever in the new development. GratefulDawg can confirm.

Cool man. Good link.

I still think a lot of our merchandise seems gauty. I wish we would simplify and refine the presentations on some of our TShirts and hats. I would be much more inclined to wear a shirt with a small MSU logo or bulldog than one that seems to dominate the entire front or back. I think Auburn does a pretty good job with alot of their stuff. Seems more "hey, how Ya doing" than "Hey! look At Me!"

Oh nos, chain restaurants. I like eating at local restaurants but there's only so many local eateries that a town can support at the level to keep them open.

I'm with you. Of course I prefer to eat local, but chain restaurants serve a purpose and every college town has them. The constant bashing has gotten tiresome.

Chain restaurants ABSOLUTELY serve their purpose, especially in college towns. But there needs to be clear plans as to when they're appropriate and when they're not appropriate. Unfortunately Starkville leadership will sign off on any building permit that comes across their desk, so we end up with 30 similar chain restaurants that act as a revolving door for other ****** restaurants to take their place (I'm looking at you, title loan place in Wendy's).

I even understand why the development is getting a chain and not a local restatement, I get contracts. But still... Enough is enough.

I'd just very much love for Starkville to not be a pitstop for alumni to come into town and eat at McAllister's before they fill up their gas tanks and head back to Louisville.

But Amerigo is like Bonefish to me - I don't have a problem with a mid-upscale chain. It isn't Chili's or Ruby Tuesday.

And Amerigo's duck and sausage pasta is good.

If we were to go to the playoffs (not even saying we'd win it all), I wonder what kind of equipment deal we could demand. Surely the damages for a breach of our contract with Adidas would be worth jumping ship to someone like Nike or Under Armour if they're offering a million or two more than what we're making yearly with Adidas.
