Are you "one" of those fairweather Saints fan? Is there anything besides a "fairweather" saints fan? Didn't the city try to sell the team after Katrina, primarily because of lack of support?

They were looking for a complete makeover...they were ridding themselves of Aaron Brooks and Jim Haslett...Katrina just rolled through and the population was down BAD. Remember, it is a business that has to be profitable. I think Benson was afraid of the financial stability of the organziation and whether it was going to recover from the storm and loss of population. I know PLENTY of solid Saints fans...me being one of them. But I also know a lot of people just jumped on the bandwagon now that they are pretty 17ing awesome.
