Horn: went 60-63 (23-41)

Paris is thus far: 56-53 (19-35). These numbers will get much worse for Paris as the losses pile up this season. Paris will finish with a worse overall win percentage and worse conference win percentage. And that's including the 26 win season. That tells you how atrociously awful the other years have been. Even a 26-win season can't lift him above Paris overall.

Paris, of course, had the massive benefit of the transfer portal, which was the main factor in our NCAAT run. Horn had no such benefit.

Horn had one good year, 2 bad years, and 1 abysmally awful year. So far, Paris has had 2 abysmally awful years (on track for a 3rd) and 1 good year.

Does Lamont survive the year?

Don't forget Paris' big raise after one good season. Giving coaches huge raises after one good season seems to be a South Carolina thing.

It's plainly obvious now that the '23-'24 season was a product of Horn flat-out getting lucky with the portal.

He got lucky when that player for Chattanooga hit the game-winning 3 in their conference championship game, which is the only reason they made it to the NCAAT. Them making it to the NCAAT is the only reason he was hired here. The only reason he got a big raise here is because he got lucky with the portal.

The team looks totally disorganized and without a plan on offense.
Look like a pickup team - they toss the ball around a bit and then somebody drives to the basket or throws up a shot before the clock runs out.

Horn had some good point guards. We had a stretch there when I thought we would never have a better point guard. Each year after that we would have a better one. Who were they? I can't remember them.

We should take money away for awful seasons.
Agree, if we add money for winning seasons, we should take back money for losing seasons as part of the contract.
Coaches should take direct responsibility for the results they produce.
