I have said this 100 times and I will say it again. The average MSU basketball fan, including many on this board and others, have no clue of the current reality in college basketball.

MSU Baseball fan awareness = Kentucky Basketball fan awareness

MSU Basketball fan awareness = Ole Miss Baseball fan awareness

I will be glad in about 20 years when our fan base has a better grasp on college basketball, as more people follow it closer.

Yeah, they were both McD AAs too!

Man, their post depth just took a couple of massive hits. Friggin Zeller and Henson are going to hold it down? Is Henson even up to Ravern's weight yet?

Now it looks like Harrison Barnes may be relegated to the 4 spot...not exactly where he should be naturally playing...not even close.

The twins were going to get heavy rotation next season, odd.

When players transfer from UNC, they're replaced on the floor with another a McDonald's All-American...<div>
</div><div>When players transfer from MSU, they're replaced on the floor with someone who should probably be on the bench.</div><div>
</div><div>A good question to ask... would be how big of a role those two players played this year? And how big of a role were they expected to play next year?</div>

Well given our loss of Adams in this recruiting class I sure hope Rick is giving them a call

Yes, cue the same tired argument that it happens everywhere else. The problem is it doesn't happen everywhere else like it does with MSU when the teams are losing 2 and 3 starters EVERY year.

Roy has a NC and a perennial top 5 recruiting class, don't think he's going to be hurting too much. He also recruits BASKETBALL players and depth behind those players. The difference was evident when we played them. They had a team full of basketball talent, we had a team with raw athletic talent.

but they would have gotten some PT this year. My dad's quote when I asked him was "very well-schooled in fundamentals but also very un-athletic.

They played average roles this season. They were the Osby of UNC.Zeller was injured and they got more PT, and one of the twins was outfor the last few weeks due to an injury.
They played a decent amount this season for freshmen and were behind some very talented post players.

And next year they would have played HUGE roles since it was basically them and 2 other players to manthe 4 and 5 spots.

We arent losing 2 and3 starters every year. Its brutal forus to lose players that are impact players, but 2 to3 starters EVERYyear?Come on.

And i do think he will be hurting with their departure. He has nobody to replace them. Barnes is theclosest, and though he is a friggin stud player, he isnt a natural 4 and certainly not at all a 5.

So who specificallyis this depth?
