David Murray makes a great point that I totally agree with

"...I only see two avenues to go: complete commitment to option offense of some sort; or sticking with a system that demands near-flawless execution and trying over time, lots of it, to assemble enough total talent and experience to do it. But that's just me."

at is eating and David knows that. Anybody that has been watching knows Croom is not exactly a workaholic at any phase of his job. So Murray`s basically calling for a switch to some sort of option offense.

As our Tupelo reporter stated earlier, Croom is a walking contradiction. He'll stick with something until it doesn't work and then when he gets called out on it, he'll try (usually the very next week mind you) doing exactly what was asked of him and then when it doesn't work - "See I told ya'"

I think I just confused myselft typing that.
I get dummer every week watching Croomball.

yea thats true as anythign thats why crxxm can't figure anyhthing out. He is toooo stubborn and can't cut ties with friends. He's a bad Coach/Leader not setting good examples like his boy The Bear.

of criticism that will force a showdown between Byrne and Croom over the offense. In my opinion, given recent Croom statements, Woody's *** is toast. The problem for Byrne and Croom is finding a replacement willing to climb aboard the USS Slytanic.

....trying to run an offense that requires a level of talent in the SEC that's very difficult to come by at MSU. Over time, like in four years, we might be able to assemble enough talent along with experience/depth to have a one-year shot at a bowl or even contend for the West title, but that largely depends upon the rest of the West being somewhat down. After that, we basically go right back into "rebuilding mode" the following few years before our next shot at a winning season. Is it really worth our time and effort as a program, or as a fan base, to settle for maybe 2 or 3 good seasons every decade? That's a choice the program has to make, and it fits into what I've referenced several times as a "culture" change. We have to get past the LT days and the days where we believe that MSU football must be a "smash-mouth pro-style offense/defense-oriented" program. I'll keep the defense part of that gladly, but we're never going to get anywhere by trying to force a square peg into a round hole offensively.</p>

people rave about him being such a "good" man and that character is his biggest trait HOWEVER he will also crucify a committment/recruit for taking visits to other schools WHILE we try to recruit other players who are commited to other schools (Robert Elliott). He is such a flip flopper that I believe he would make a perfect politician.

I gave up on him three years ago, It's past time for him to go.
