Love the arrogance. Davidson is a very well coached team, disciplined smart team. Peyton Aldridge is a beast. Not saying they will beat UK, but you better hope your team is not as overconfident as many of you are. It will not be an easy game.
Thinking we will win is not arrogance. We've just been through this rodeo a time or 2. The only arrogance in this thread is stemming from you.

Aldridge is an extremely talented 6'8" forward who can shoot from the perimeter. Grady is a talented shooting guard who can hit from anywhere in the half court. Davidson led the NCAA in the number of made 3 pointer for the season.

I think the UK cats play pretty decent three point shooting defense. I am afraid of the long rebounds from a three point shooting team.

I don't think this UK team can afford to take anyone lightly
I agree with this. It's the FIRST tournament game for almost all of these guys. I also recall last year when NKU gave us all we could handle.

November of next year. Your point?

I watched Davidson play alot this year, and they are the kind of team that can give UK trouble. The arrogance of "oh they are from the A-10, easy game for us" attitude is typical from UK fans. Keep in mind nearly every year a 12 seed beats a 5. (It's happened 16 of the last 18 years). Beware, UK

Well, you seem to think that an upset is in order. While I do not think it will be a blowout, I would be willing to make a nominal wager on this game. Are you?

You are correct. I wish we were playing IU instead. Oh is IU not in the tournament?

Haven't watched them at all this year. Who's their best player, what's their game plan? How good are they?

Aldridge -6-8 looks like their best player followed by Grady a guard. Both shoot about 39% from 3. Gudmusson a guard also shoots the 3 at a good percentage. These three seem to wreck the most havoc. Pritchett a 6-5 or so guard also a good player that shoots pretty well. As a team they shoot the 3 in the high 30% range.

On defense one glaring thing is they don't seem to get many steals. Most likely will play a tight zone and hope we aren't shooting good. Our size inside could really hurt them if we focus on going to the basket a lot. Several people saying we will be out coached this game. Their depth doesn't look like a lot, maybe a couple of role players off the bench so if we can get a couple of their big three in foul trouble early they are in real trouble.
