I would have to guess they were going to rely on Davis a little to break in the new QB some. What kind of RB depth do they have? Davis was a hoss.

they are still bringing back too much on offense for this to be that significant.

Their RBs will run against a 6 man front all year, they'll still win 8-11 games.

they have the most talented group of WR's in thecountry and they have improved at every other position over last year. Only real question is QB but he performed well last year when he played. Could be as productive as Mallet was.

Broke his collar bone once in HS. Broke the collar bone again at Ark. Broke his ankle once in HS. Broke his ankle again as a freshman at Ark. And now an ACL.

They had serious depth going into the spring, but now both of their big ball control backs are gone. Broderick Green, the other big back blew his ACL in the spring.

Ronnie Wingo and Dennis Johnson are both good RBs, but an injury to either could really hurt Ark. Wingo is actually bigger than Davis. I would presume he takes top spot now.

The good new for Ark is that they play three straight gimmes before getting into the meat of their schedule.

I agree to an extent, but I wouldn't say the only question is QB.

They have no LT and are talking of starting a true freshman. Breaking in a new QB in a passing offense with a new LT and a sudden lack of depth at RB is going to be tough. Wilson won't be near as comfortable with a true freshman protecting him combined with the loss of two top RBs.

Arkansas should be good, maybe even top 10. But they do have some question marks. And for all the hype Wilson is getting (and I like him too) he did throw 2 4th quarter picks that cost them the game in the only game he played in last year.

That he wasn't expected to play in, against the eventual National Champion and, oh, was offset by three TD passes and over 300 yds....

they'll be fine...

I think they'll be fine at QB too. But Auburn didn't win the national title because of their defense, especially their defensive backfield. They were last in the SEC in pass defense.

get crushed from behind a couple of times.

You also have to consider how vitale DJ Williams was to the Arkansas passing game and OL. They don't have a sure handed vet like him catching passes across the middle and blocking at TE.

He's an incredible running back, and assuming he recovers, should have a great college career.
