I took some photos of the West side yesterday showing how rapidly the bricks are coming up along exterior. I will try to take some more this evening of the end zone.

These are great! Thanks for taking the time to share with us. I never get tired of seeing the construction pics. Would love it if you could keep doing this periodically.

Unfortunately I haven't had a chance to get inside. The way they have things gated off it is hard to get good pics of what is going on underneath the grand stands. If the opportunity opens up I will attempt to at least get pics from the field.

Any pics of the interior concourse on the west side?

a certain scout site had a photo gallery available for non-subscribed people like myself. had pics of the concourse, the concessions area (really nice looking btw...with a back room that cooks/preps the food and a front area that sells it (separated by a wall), and pics of the restrooms.....minus the templeton troughs (2 mens restrooms and 3 womens). it appears there are multiple independent urinal hookups that appear to be a couple of feet off the ground, so unless its a new cutting-edge trough design, it looks like splashing piss is a thing of the past.

it looks really nice. also, i think i read somewhere that the either one of, or both of the 100 and 200 levels are having new chairbacks installed. while on campus last week, i saw some work going on in one of those levels. i assume they will reinstall the removed chairbacks relocated somewhere else in the stadium, similar to what they did last time.

I noticed the prospect gate to the left of the M-club..

I wonder how much recruiters are pitching "play in the best stadium in mississippi card", if at all. And what effect it's having, if any.

I'm sure this is germans but...

How much (if any) of the lower bowl will actually be available for seating in 2013? I see that there is a seemingly completed section that's maybe 10-12 rows deep, and then there is the framework for about 1/4th of the much larger section starting at the NW corner. So does anybody know the plan for the next 2 months? I've heard/read things about a student section but I'm not sure what to believe.

Just that small section that's already done will be used this coming season. Everything else is 2014.

So how big are the elevators? I was hoping for freight elevators that would carry 40-50 people per trip.

I was hoping for the same thing. Although I love going on drunken mountain climbs in 90 degree weather to get to my seats***, I wouldn't mind hitching a ride on an elevator.

Or you can just pony up and sit in the lower sections.

Fewer gates??

Are there going to be fewer gates into the stadium? I was at Barns & Noble today and took a look at the West Side. There used to be 6 gates along the road between the stadium and Barns& Noble. Now there are only 3. Two on the North end and one on the South end and they seem small than the old gates! Gonna be interesting <30 min before kickoff!

Anybody know if anything will go over the joints between the brick panels?

Or at least something to soften them/make them disappear? Looks good from far off but kinda funky up close. Not complaining, just asking because I'm ignorant.

I pony up more than required for my seats.

I just like my seats, chair backs, 45 yard line, great game view, I can hear the PA system, and no crumb snatchers nearby but as SO34 said, those ramps are a 17er. I have sat all over Davis Wade and my game view is as good as any in the house but I am tired of the wife bitching about that climb.

Unless I'm seeing it wrong... It doesn't appear the vertical supports go up to match the height of the east and west lower bowl. Anyone have any insight on this?

the elevator column look unfinished without the 3rd panel of bricks...not to mention that its gonna look odd from field view unless its wrapped in brick or it gets addressed. why cover on side totally, then the other side 2/3 of the way....i dont get it. also, any ideas/renderings on what the prospect plaza thing will look like?
