First 3 guys reach, we get a run in on a single and then try to bunt a 6' 6" 285 lb. baserunner over to 3rd and fail, then try a double steal and fail.

Just let the inning play out with no speed at second. Yes, it could have been a double play ball. Yes we could have lined into a double play at short. But, anything bunted back near a pitcher or in front of the catcher and the out at 3rd is a gimme. If you think that in the 4th inning it is critical to play small ball with 2 on and no outs, then you are actually telling your hitters you have no faith in them.

Of course we may end up winning 10-3 and that is all moot.

2 on, nobody out, a run home.....and instead of playing for the big inning, he tries to bunt the runners up a base, giving up an out, but he has Wes Rea as the lead runner.

Sooo.... he says...dang.....we screwed that up....let's try to steal the next 2 guys into scoring position to overcome that blown sacrifice and .....voila'.... the catcher throws the lead runner out at 3rd. And then to compound the lack of execution.....Girodo serves the old gopher ball. Perplexing to say the least. Implosion....not.
