A team loaded with Freshmens is only gonna get better as the season goes on. This team is starting to get it.

This weekend will be a huge test and if we can just split with two good teams I will be happy. And not get blown out in the game we lose.

These guys scrap and fight enough to win alot of games this season. We will see how it pans out.

is the fact that we haven't hosted one is awhile. I know it's WAY too early to talk about that, but I think we get one if we finish in the top five of the SEC and remember- you don't have to be the #1 seed to host.

We will put in a good bid.

How we lost those games weredisastrous. If not for the blown save and numerous errors, we should have won at least two of those games, but we can say "should" a lot as State fans. I am glad to see the team bounce back and just win.

Cohen is like a mad scientist experimenting with players.... We thought that Jones was going to close... I just dont see that anymore... He just looks useless so far

Bracewell as the closer and Devin go the weekend rotation for the SEC with Routt and Stratton with Devin pitching on Sunday. I agree, and noticed that Cohen brought in Ben for that situation. Bracewell has that closer personality, and I see Devin as a guy that might be better suited to start. Then we could use Whitney or one of the freshmen like Girordo during the midweek.

I think everyone is experimenting with lineups at this part of the year. It's hard to tell in scrimmages how guys are going to perform against live action. It's just totally different. You just have to try different things, try to figure out where your weaknesses are, and then try to correct the weaknesses, and hopefully by conference play you have a team that you feel pretty comfortable with.

You look around the SEC, and you see most people outside of maybe LSU losing to people of SELU caliber or less. And a big reason why is most people don't have their lineups set.

which I believe SELa is (not great but good) when you are kicking the ball all around the field. But it looks like we have at least shored up most of our defensive problems.

Otherwise, they would be ranked ahead of us in the RPI.

Obviously, for our seeding purposes, we need them to finish the season with no more than 10-12 losses. They have 43 games left and are 12-1. If they are good, they should be able to do that. Their schedule is horrendous.

I find it funny that as early as last week some people were calling for cohens head. I told yall that we are young and just going to have to be patient. He is doing good things. I still dont see us hosting a regional but I sure hope we do.

polk's last year is a symbol of how bad his recrootin got to be....cohen inherited a team that had no business with talent that low...

even if we don't do that well this year it is still not cohen's fault.....next year we will begin to see what big time recruits will do.... if not this year....

we have our man and he is cohen... he will get ur done

But plenty on here were saying they doubted he was the right hire and speculating as to how many years we'd have to give before firing him.
