thank you for holding firm on the rule banning political or racial posts on this board and locking them immediately. A few idiots just don't seem to get it, but that would ruin this board real quick. Pretty much all the others are OK as long as the violations aren't too blatant, but that one needs to continue to have a zero tolerance rule.

Seconded here. I've seen many great message boards fall apart because of political discussions that have nothing to do with the purpose of the board. Most message board moderators out there are too pussified to actually say we're not going to have those discussions here and end up trying to strike a balance that allows such posts but only under certain conditions. I'm thankful that we have a board where those get locked down and if you try to carry on after the lock you'll get your *** kicked off.

and some of the things said do bother some people. Of course, if we locked a thread every time one of you called somebody gay or *****, we'd have nothing to talk about I suppose. I have deleted some of the more egregious stuff before. You're really just showing your own ignorance or lack of creativity when you call somebody gay as an insult.

I agree with this, but I'll also add that sometimes it is allowed such as the game slogans are not enforced. See JSU week for proof.
