1. Its good to see our staff not have a letdown game all year. We have come out and battled every Saturday.

2. Good job by Relf coming in and giving us a lift. I still think he should be our red zone QB. But you can't really ***** about his lack of playing after watching him throw the ball yesterday.

3. Tyson Lee is getting worse. He just looks beat down now.

4. While Lee is limited, we arent giving him much help at critical times Coach Koenning. Help your QB with playcalling, dont make him worse.

Against Bammer- 0-0 game...2nd and 4...running it right at them, we are driving...what do we do? We get cute and call a pass play. Run the 17'ing football and lets get another 1st down. But noooooo, we call a pass, throw the INT...all momentum lost.

Against UPig, close ballgame...1st half..driving in the red zone..running it right at them...1st and 10...what do we do? We get cute and decide to play-action pass. We dont block a damn soul and lose 8 yards.

****** playcalling. Help your QB and protect him from himself.

5. If I'm Mullen, I tell Torbush if he runs another 3 man front without blitzing, then just go ahead and clean your **** out of your office.

6. I'm really curious now to see which coaches won't be returning

7. We need a good crowd and to be loud as hell Saturday. We also need some young people to make some Cam Newton signs. We need this recruit worse than any we have needed in the last 15 years

and then in the press conference they ***** about being diverse and ****. Nutt has done it all year long and given rebel fans fits.

I wish Mullen would call the plays honestly, when that was his job at Florida they never got cute. Tebow, Tebow, Harvin, Tebow, Harvin, Harvin, Tebow. Common sense. Simple, but too damn smart. And Gator Nation bitched that they weren't creative enough, all the while beating the LSUs and FSUs of the world by 40 points. Damned if you do damned if you don't.

he`ll be a redshirt freshman but I`ve watched enough football through the years to know that all redshirt freshmens are not alike. Bare in mind I`m not asking if we can win the west or anything like that , juat asking if we can compete better next year than we did this year. Remember there were a few times this year we didn`t need a Tim Tebow to win ...just a serviceable QB.

as one of our own coaches said of Newton "he's a program changer"....after watching Russell all year long, but saying this of Newton, tells me all we need to know about what we want to do at QB.

QB will be a real strength for us if we can play Newton. In either case, our future at QB for the next four years looks to be pretty good.

That 94-yard TD drive we had. How many passing yards did we have?

Run three plays till they stop those three plays. Then add in a fourth that is different but not radically so. After you establish this pattern then you can get cute.

I would start Relf or let Tyson run the first play of the game becuase he is a senior and it will be senior day and then pull him.

I really think we need to start letting Relf throw the ball some. Some as in 10-20 times. Even if he hits a Templeton in the Junction, the threat that he might accidentally complete a deep bomb will force the safeties out of the box and make it easier to run. Plus, I thought he did an average job of throwing the ball against Arkansas. 2/4 with no INT's vs. Lee's 3/5- with one being a Utah pass. If Relf does throw an INT, it's probably moot because Lee throws a ton of INT's as well.

Relf at least gives us another play maker on offense, especially in the running game.

Relf and Lee either didn't recognize a blitz or thought they didn't need to and both were sacked multiple times. Perhaps the center is not recognizing it.

Exactly Indn. When Arky blitzed and we had a pass called, it was a jail break. It has to do with not recognizing it. Also, our OL getting toasted 1v1 and no adjustments to pick up the blitzer. Frustrating.

I will add one thing to the day after thoughts. I still have not figured out the purpose of going for it in the 1st half on 4th and 21 from the 32. DePas was hitting 50 yarders in warm ups. But to throw such a low percentage pass as a fad pass from that far? Lee should have sold the FS on the other side of the field better....but still. Throw something underneath and hope for YAC for a 1st or TD. You go for points in that situation against a team like UPig. You need all the points you can get.

Another thought, 11 games into the season and we have no passing game. I know a lot of that has to do with talent at a certain position. But still....

I agree to the point that we had to get pressure on Mallett. If our front 3 or 4 can't do it , send someone every three plays or so. Petrino is a brillaint playcaller . To start the second half , we blitzed the first 5 or 6 plays in a row, even Dave Neal caught it.

The what does Petrino do? He calls a wide reciver screen , the best play call out there for a blitzing, over aggressive defense. The rest is history , their guy takes it to the house . I blame that on our defense being out of position more so than not playing good defense.

Sometimes blitzing too much can get you out of postiton . Screens to RBs and WRs can pull a defense back quick .
