The first round of voting for the Derek Dunn Douchebag of the Year Award has been completed. Second round polls and capsules will be available Tuesday-Friday.

(8) Coach34 96, (9) Ole Miss Grad 75
In what was espected to be a close first round matchup, Coach34 had a late surge to pull out a 21-vote win. Peaches advances to take on top-seeded Ron Polk in the Elite Eight. And yes, this means Coach34 has advanced farther than Stans.

(5) Destin Bob 117, (12) Pat Patterson 44
A popular first round upset pick, Destin Bob jumped out early and never looked back by clinching 73 percent of the vote. An exciting second round matchup is on hand as Bob takes on Rebel Chuck.

(11) Andy Kennedy 113, (6) Brad Krayer 46
In a first round upset, 11th-seeded Andy Kennedy got the best of the infamous Brad Krayer. Experts state that the question on whether Brad Krayer was a mythical creature hurt his chances, because as we all know, Andy Kennedy is real. AK faces fellow opposing coach Chip Durham in the next round.

(10) PokeMyStar 89, Louisiana Tech 71
In what was the closest first round matchup, PokeMyStar edged out Louisiana Tech (the dubmass poster) by 18. Pokey advances to face Dustin Dawg in this week's exciting second round.

Updated Bracket. Again, capsules and polls will be open tommorow for the DDDY Elite Eight.

coach has stated many times that he is often just stirring the pot. i voted for him simply because he has worked hard at his douchebaggery. it is an art. now, him vs. polk is a no brainer. polk should pull away rather easily.</p>

Yea, chuck gets drunk and decides to post terrible comments on the internet, but a couple of his posts on NAFOOM have been hilarious, and they may be influencing me, whether votes should be based on 6pack performances alone or not.

Destin Bob is just terrible at life.

polk would take him. croom left town rather quietly whereas polk tried to burn every bridge on the way out. plus i think the ninja would hack into DS's computer and change the votes for polk anyways.

I'm surprised poke beat LaTech. That guy was consistent gay-douche behavior; poke was here for a few days. Whatever, still say DustinDawg is going to the ship.

When does the next round begin?

Croom was among the first four out, as was McCorvey. The committee decided that there was mostly incompetence rather than douchebaggery involved in our football program.

How can you argue with the douchebaggery of these 12? Seeding maybe. Pokey came on late thats why he was a lower seed. Andy was seeded low because his douchebaggery had nothing to do with MSU. Its a very professional process. We met at the Airport Ramada Inn in a conference room and everything.

where i have to give omgrad the edge. coach was just "acting" like a douche on those occasions, whereas omgrad was just being his normal self. therein lies the question you must ask yourself: is it worse to act like a douche or to be a douche and not know it? i guess the people have spoken. however, i feel as though it's worse to be a douche and not know it (and pretend you're cool), than to be cool sometimes and just act like a douche others.

Croom stole millions of dollars from MSU. He lied repeatedly about his teams and the "character" and all that other garbage. He refused to make any positive changes because the Bahr wouldn't have done it that way. So, yes, he is a total douche.
