After an exciting preliminary round, the top eight douches have risen to the top. This week, we will have a daily quarterfinal (polls close in 24 hours) and wrap this thing up next week with the semifinals and 2010 DDDY Championship. This should shorten the bracket up and allow daily comments on each matchup rather than presenting four matchups at a time.

IMPORTANT: Please read and select the bigger douche. Don't just pick the top seed because they are the top seed. The seeds have more to do with their preliminary draws.

Today's matchup features top-seeded Coach34 and the No. 8 seed DiamondReb.

Anyone familiar with the Six Pack is familiar with the doucheness of Coach34. After winning the LSU Fan Conference last year, Peaches comes through with the top seed coming out of the Stands.bury Six Pack. While most of us agree with him about Croom, none of us would go this far. Although a six month search of Coach's posts yields =2&submit=search&advanced=1]50 pages of results, finding one of his many douchebag rants on Stansbury is fairly easy. There's this one, that one, and many, many more. But while he is pretty annoying, there is no doubt that sometimes he is right.

DiamondReb is the champion of the Ole Miss Douchebag League. Of all the douchebags in the field, DiamondReb is the only one to be banned by HD6. However, NAFOOM has provided this asshat a forum to keep spewing crap like this. Of course, stating that we were never in a game in which the score was 16-13 in the fourth quarter is just moronic. And of course, while he may end up being right, his constant Bianco > Cohen dribble is as annoying as, well, Coach34's Stansbury dribble. One thing is not in doubt, DiamondReb is obsessed with all things MSU, which takes attention away from their real rivals on the bayou.

In the words of Kurt Rambis, "Is there a bigger dubmass ***** than DiamondReb?" Probably not, Kurt, but is Coach34 a bigger douche? That's up to you.

At least Coach34 does have some redeeming qualities. He's actually a pretty good poster on all things not Stansbury related. Although he's becoming way to sheepish on Cohen lately.

Alot of 34's deal is that he enjoys getting other posters riled up which serves as the motivation for alot of the Stans repeat bs. So the question is, Is it douchier to go through all that trouble to get a reaction out of people on a message board than it is to be an outright douche like DiamondReb?Like patdog said, I enjoy 34's posts not about basketball soI'm going with the reb in an upset.</p>

I think he's really justTHAT obsessed, and he uses that line simply ascover. It's a pretty douchey excuseof why he's so douchey.

I look at DiamondReb as the local village idiot. I'm not sure he can help being a douche because he might in fact be mentally retarded. Coach34, on the other hand, is a douche on purpose. And as annoying as DiamondReb is, to me, being a douche on purpose is worse than being a douche when you're mentally handicapped.

The other reason I am voting for Coach34 is because he is sitting in his condom sales office high on life today because we are all talking about him. He is a douche just to get attention to make him feel good about himself.

It doesn't matter to me if you believe it or not because it's just my opinion. Notice I said alot and not all of. There is no doubt he has a true disdain for Stans as our coach, but if you don't think he is laughing his face offwhen dawgbreezestarts ranting,you are mistaken. Again, just my opinion, douchey as it may be.

Coach likes to get on your nerves a good deal. However, for the most part, he has some good takes. Converseley, I can't ever think of a good take that DiamondReb had. He is just an all-around dumbass. His sports knowledge is limited to ole miss sports. I'm pretty sure that he probably doesn't even know who won the SEC last year in football. In my mind, he's the typical ole miss clown.

Coach isn't just a d-bag on the board. Every been in a fantasy league with him? He will either:
a. forget the draft and blame it on Little Coach
b. never pay attention to his team
c. talk smack about his team but not make the playoffs
d. never pay the winner

I dont know much about Diamondreb but how can he be a bigger douche than C34 because as a Rebel, he hates MSU and says dumb stuff to make his school look superior when C34 actually calls himself an MSU fan but says dumb stuff to make his own school look inferior? The bigger idiot definitely could be DiamondReb but only a douche finds ANY and EVERY way toblast his own team, players, etc.

like another poster said, at the end of the day, you'd probably have a beer with Coach34.

I voted for DiamondReb. I do believe the winner of this matchup makes the final, but the DDDY is coming from the other side of the bracket.

I actually agree with most of his points although he takes plenty of them so far that they stop making sense (the Talking Heads are awesome). But the main reason I like him is because he brings out the worst in people... which i find to be pure comedic gold. He even has the ability to bring out the worst in the people that even agree with him, a la fishwater. He also isn't afraid to go completely below the belt (remember the HD6 banishment fiasco) which I find the most hilarious.

Keep up the good work Coach34.

I.m going DiamondReb, because when i read his posts it takes every ounce of my being not to hunt him down kick his ***. His stupidity is actually unbelievable. C34 makes me laugh more than anything.

PS If anone knows the true identity of DiamondReb, i would love to know it.

even to this day...with newbies, its like playing Rider- you're supposed to win. But popping the veterans time and time again just stays fun

I cant decide if me and D@A getting Costanza and HD on the scheduling issue was more fun or the Tyler Russell flop- both made it a great year.

"I know for a fact that we will not schedule a major school without getting a return home game- we just will not do that"- Costanza, about one week before our game at UCLA was announced

that was an excellent thread.... I felt like I couldn't press "refresh" fast enough to check for a new come-back. i was honestly tempted to drive out there (lived in the cotton district at the time) and watch whatever happened for myself.

I really think DiamondReb should win this one. I think the only reason Coach wins this is if people vote that don't really read much of eithers posts, and just vote due to the fact that they hear people call Coach a douche.. Face it, Coach is truly one of the most knowledgeable people on this board. He takes it too far a lot, but he usually has a point.

Someone with as bold of predictions as yourself has to completely whiff every now and then... its just the nature of the prediction-maker beast

The first one that immediately comes to my mind was your Petersen as next head coach statement. I think the info you heard was solid, as it was basically the same **** that I heard, but you definitely jumped the gun in rosebowl-esque fashion in your confidence. It was so hilarious that it almost made the crumbling of that pipe-dream a little less disappointing.

But in your opinion, what have been some of your biggest message board blunders?
