Yesterday's Result: (8) DiamondReb 130, (1) Coach34 87. Once again, Coach can't get out of the early round, and becomes the first 1-seed in DDDY history to not make the final.

Today, we have another exciting quarterfinal matchup in the 2010 Derek
Dunn Douchebag of the Year Award. After yesterday's exciting upset of
Coach34, attention now goes to his protege, Fishwater, as he matches up
with Mike Slive in the 4-5 match.

Fishwater is like no other SPS poster. Except for Coach, OEM and the
rest of the Standsberry Six Pack. Fish likes to complain a lot about
the transfer problem, facts be damned. He wonders when the last time Stans called a good play was, and is pissed about the ****** OOC scheduling. Basically, fishwater is not a fan of the winningest coach in MSU basketball history.

SEC Commissioner Mike Slive comes into the DDDY with the highest
profile. It all started during football season, when obvious bad calls
against Houston and Florida were virtually ignored by the SEC office, while at least statements were issued when Georgia and Arkansas
were on the end of questionable judgment calls. It continued into
basketball season, when Slive sat idle during the Sidney saga, despite going to bat for Kentucky and John Wall, horrible officiating offset a great MSU-Kentucky
game at the Hump, he sat on his *** when Varnardo became college
basketball's all-time shot blocker, and in his finest hour, pimped
Florida over a more deserving MSU team to get into the NCAA Tournament.

Don't you think it's funny as hell that Coach34 lost in an early round upset for the 2nd year in a row. Just like his hero has done a few times in his career.

It's gotta be Mike Slive. Fishwater does it all for the attention. He's truly just an idiotic moron. He's not really a douche.

According to the DDDY media guide, that 43-vote margin of victory is FOURTH ALL-TIME behind

Destin Bob +73 over Pat Patterson
Andy Kennedy +67 over Brad Krayer
Dustin Dawg +66 over PokeMyStar
DiamondReb +43 over Coach34

Also, DiamondReb's vote total surpassed Destin Bob's DDDY record 117 votes in last year's first round matchup with Pat Patterson.

Mike Slive 17s state over in all 3 sports.

Okay, at least 2 of them, we've kind of 17ed ourselves over at this point for baseball. That's still 1 more sport than what fish complains about.

...because a good many of the things cited against Slive were calls and noncalls by officials. The Sidney situation was something I don't think Slive could have (or to be frank given the publicity-- wanted to) handle. And as far as MSU and the Big Dance are concerned, I don't think we deserved to be in it. That being said, Florida didn't deserve being in it either.

Now if this were Fishwater vs. Officials, I'd be voting for the Officials.

while he sat on his hands after Jarvis setting the record, he sure looked mopey sitting behind the UK bench when WVU was handing them their asses (there was a great pic for this from the Cincy paper the next day, but damned if I can find it). Anyway living and dying to screw State>living and dying by posting about living and dying by the three.

look he had when Jarvis broke the record is what should seal the deal for him. I'm sure somebody has it saved somewhere. My vote goes for Slive.

KurtRambis4[/b]]without a doubt. As someone pointed out, Fishwater is just an idiot. Slive is a douche.
I find it hilariousthat there is so much hatred for myself and my Stans rants, thatImade it to the Elite8(something Stans never will do).
I was really looking forward to kicking C34's *** in the semi-finals. I can'twait until December to watch The Renardo Sidney Show.

You didn't have to play a Texas in Austin or a Duke in Greensboro. This was as bad as losing to Butler in Birmingham. At least that was a close game though, you got your *** kicked. Actually, your loss would be more like losing an NCAAT game in Jackson, and Stans has never lost a game in Jackson.

I look at the Coach vs Diamondreb and this match up about the same as Hillary vs Obama. Both bad, but Slive has hurt MSu more than any of coach or Fish's rantings. Maybe fish and coach can have a consolation match by attending a coaching clinic hosted by Stansbury to help them understand what the game is all about.

But, C34 and myself would love to hear his offensiveschemes and/or strategy, or lack thereof. Go ahead and set it up for usDawgbreeze...

Coach34 makes a lot of sense most of the time. What was the vote? I posit that only a vocal minority on SPS is anti-Coach34.

the gayest thing you could have written. That may have pulled you ahead of Slive. Can I change my vote, anyone?

correct me if i'm wrong, but college basketball is all about the dance.....isn't that where March Madness comes from? right?

It's about the dance.....I don't know if a Stansbury coaching clinic could effectively speak on that.
