Semifinal action is set to begin today in the 2010 edition of the Derek Dunn #**#$!#$% of the Year Tournament.
Today we feature a pair of teams who upset their way into the Final Four of Douche.
SEC Commissioner Mike Slive knocked off Fishwater in the quarterfinal and really seemed to pick up steam as a possible candidate to take the DDDY this year.
It all started during football season, when obvious bad calls
against Houston and Florida were virtually ignored by the SEC office, while at least statements were issued when Georgia and Arkansas
were on the end of questionable judgment calls. It continued into
basketball season, when Slive sat idle during the Sidney saga, despite going to bat for Kentucky and John Wall, horrible officiating offset a great MSU-Kentucky
game at the Hump, he sat on his *** when Varnardo became college
basketball's all-time shot blocker, and in his finest hour, pimped
Florida over a more deserving MSU team to get into the NCAA Tournament.
But don't underestimate the doucheness of DiamondReb. First, DiamondReb inderectly ousted one of the favorites, Cowbell9, to sneak into the tournament. Matched up against super douche and top seed Coach34, all he did is set a new DDDY record for votes.
DiamondReb is the champion of the Ole Miss #**#$!#$% League. Of all the
douchebags in the field, DiamondReb is the only one to be banned by
HD6. However, NAFOOM has provided this asshat a forum to keep spewing crap like this. Of course, stating that we were never in a game in which the score was 16-13 in the fourth quarter is just moronic. And of course, while he may end up being right, his constant Bianco > Cohen dribble is as annoying as, well, Coach34's Stansbury dribble. One thing is not in doubt, DiamondReb is obsessed with all things MSU, which takes attention away from their real rivals on the bayou.
As always, voting ends in a day, the other semifinal is tomorrow. We'll take off Wednesday to fully discuss the final and the voting will begin Thursday. By this time Friday, we'll have the 2010 DDDY.
