I've always wondered how stories like this get their wires crossed. Isn't it a safe assumption that this guy probably never said that he was Dillon Day, right? I bet the guy who took the pictures went online, looked at our roster, found the white guy with long hair, e-mailed the picture and said "Dillon Day was driving a lambo in STL"... and Deadspin reports just that.
What's crazy is I believe this guy is Day's roommate, at least I used to see them together all hours of the day. They were always on the porch of those condos right by the bridge to campus in the cotton district.
Day was telling us one time at the bar that everyone always mistakes this guy for him. Crazy.
As far as the shirt, I think he got that while on the team.
ETA: To sound less creepy, I rode a bike to class every day so I saw a lot.
