You are a very good football coach, a fine human being, and a hard worker for sure. Last night, however, I learned you will quit. You quit on your guys last night; you can call it what you want, make every excuse in the book you can find, but it all shakes out as one thing to me....you quit trying at the end of the game when your guys were still on the field playing. You let your players down, your fans down, and more importantly you let yourself down. Honestly, I just would never have believed it until I saw it with my own eyes. I hope I never see it again.

Dan. Why would you use them? Not really trying to win I guess. I wonder if Tobias Smith was trying to win. I bet he was. What about Brandon Maye when he got almost completely knocked out? Was he trying to win? I bet he was. How bout using a timeout then to give your defense a breather? Since you didn't need them for your offense.

happens to all of us. However Dan has to remember that no one is greater than our university ..

No matter where you've been, or where you plan to go, no one is greater than Mississippi State University. </p>

I thought the same thing when I saw our lastseries of the game. I think Dan was so pissed that he just said screw it we're done for today. Everyone knows Dan has an ego and swagger, and I like that. But when that ego got punched squarein the mouth Thursday night, he let it effect him to the point that he made bad decisions. I hope that changes.

and then to watch out o-line take another injury and to watch their d-line throttle us all night was a little too much. Dan EXPECTS results and everywhere he has been he has gotten the results he wanted ... and for him to take it on the chin 2 weeks in a row in two games he really, really wanted was a little much for him. It was a situation he'd never really experienced before and he didn't know how to properly handle it.

the most important thing is that Dan gets the message. As for the diary, I didn't take the time. I just quit.
