If I were Greg Byrne and any of this were true, I'd sue Swindo-Curl for tortious interference with contract and get a restraining order prohibiting him from having any association w/ the program, from running any business associated w/ the University, and/or from claiming to have any connection with MState athletics. If Byrne were to show those kind of 'nads even I would get off my fat, happy *** and start writing checks.

I think it's going a bit overboard. First, whoever posted that on the CL was someone from this board. Second, this question (as stupid as it was) had nothing to do with why Petersen turned us down. This is just something to ***** about and for some to get on a soapbox to get Gene thrown out of any MSU circles and have his board go down the tubes. I'd say we're a little biased. As much a I would love to see Gene thrown to the wolves and watch his board cease to exist, I don't think this will do it. Last week, this was voted as one of the funniest thing done during the coaching search. Now that Petersen isn't coming, many are looking for a reason other than Petersen would rather be in Boise than at MSU.
