Newbie here and glad to be aboard after being banned from Genie's page. Been underground because of apathy since La Tech. But, since UK, UT and GT, I can't stand it any longer. Before La Tech, I predicted we would lose. Then, shortly after the La Tech fiasco, I posted this on the Sheep board and was banned the next day:

Dear Greg Byrne,

We as a MSU nation and MSU Family have dawned upon a new era of losing at MSU. After 8 months of preparation during the so-called turn-around off-season this coaching staff has failed us with not being prepared, not being disciplined, not being competent and not being ready to have their team of players prepared to play a high-level of football required at this level of Div.1 athletics. This loss, once again to an inferior school such as La Tech, shows how the current coaching staff running this program has failed us time and time again.

Except for a lucky season and a great Defensive Coordinator in 2007, the current Football Administration regime has plunged our football program in Peril. Times have been tough for us since the 2001 Indy Bowl season. We have gone from an era of slight prosperity (early Sherrill years & not the late years) to an era of utter defeat. The current Football Administration for the past 5 years, has run our Program into the ground with Failed schemes, failed decisions, failed recruiting and failed policies of running a college football entity. We now find our beloved football program in Peril with no hope or ray of light in sight. Our fragile reputation of being a winner which was being slightly built under the previous staff (early Sherrill years, not the late years) has now sunk into the depths of n defeat and losing. We have NO hope, NO vision, NO motivation, NO fun and NO desire to make it better under the current regime. The current football coaching staff has FAILED us and we need CHANGE because YES WE CAN do much better here at MSU!

We need CHANGE to come to our Program. We don't want to hear negative things like: NO WE CAN'T because we are a smaller program in Mississippi and the SEC. We believe we can do much better than the current failed schemes, failed prepartion, failed recruiting and failed policies of the last 5 years. We believe in the motto and creed: YES WE CAN and in what new coach John Cohen has told his baseball team: WHY NOT US. From a football community perspective, we are in hard times at MSU. Other programs in our state are moving in a progressive direction. Other programs in the SEC are winning/improving and instilling hope, vision, desire, motivation and fun within their programs. It seems most programs around us are having slight to moderate to ample Success. Yet, here at MSU, we are shakled with the jaws of defeat and losing. Our other sports programs seem to be having sustain success and sustained winning because they have embraced CHANGE and the motto new coach John Cohen likes to use: WHY NOT US. See, this is the type of CHANGE of Adm and policy we need for football here at MSU.

We as a football program are being left behind. We as a fan base DO NOT believe our best interests are being served. We as a MSU family are NOT being heard. I believe YES WE CAN and WE WILL do much better than the failed policies of the last 5 years. WE NEED CHANGE to come to the MSU football program because of the following reasons:

1. With the right Leadership in coaching: We can win at MSU in football: YES WE CAN! But we need CHANGE!

2. With the right Commander-in-Chief teaching our young football players: (like John Cohen says) WHY NOT US, we can compete for winning seasons and championships at MSU.

3. With the right Leader heading our Football operations: WE CAN rise up and defeat the opponents and rivals within our State and our Conference...but to do that we need to break with the policies of the last 5 years and bring CHANGE to MSU...YES WE CAN do much better!

4. We only have a moment in time and a flash to opportunity to bring CHANGE to football here at MSU...YES WE CAN! do better!

5. We need inspiration, motivation, fire, desire, accountability but in order to do that we must rise up and break with the policies of the last 5 years and go about things in a NEW way in a CHANGED way and bring back respect, heart, class and inspiration to the young men who put on the uniform and fight for MSU football. But to do that we need CHANGE - YES WE CAN do much better at MSU in football.

I urge you to bring in a new head football coach (similar in age, mentality and philosophy in new baseball Coach John Cohen) who will bring aobut the CHANGE we need as a football program. MSU deserves the right to do better. They have given me a great education and well-rounded college experience. Please hire a proven Leader and Commander-in-Chief to lead our Program with class and dignity for all students, alumni and fans to be proud of.

We need CHANGE! - YES WE CAN! do much better at MSU football!</p>

Don't know if it is because of it's repetitiveness from what we have discussed on here for so long, or the Obama references. Just can't do it. Sorry

nobody here will read a soliloquy of your views.
Again, I am a newbie so I guess my frustration with our current coaching regime went over board, sorry guys.

But, my soliloquy of views is this: We need for Greg Byrne to step up and make a change (probably won't happen) because we owe that to the place which gave us a quality education. I want accountability for a place which I used to respect, admire and love to cheer for on Saturdays.

Brevity is the soul of wit.

On top of that, you sound like a homo with all your stupid CATCH PHRASES CAPITALIZED.

Go away.

It's all about quantity, not quality.

Besides, the total number of words in all my posts < the total number of words in your 1 post.

1) Is "Dawned" a word?

2) This would probably do more good being sent to GB and not SixPack. Then again, maybe not

3) Does anyone else go into a 15 second trance every time you notice the video clip in Jim Halpert's posts?

you should send this to Greg, rather that taking some sort of indirect ******** where you post it on a message board.

I mean, if you want to tell the board this is what you think , then fine. But, a damn dear XXXX post a message board???

Grow some gonads and send it to him.
