I think I am finally in agreement that Rick Stansbury's tenure at Mississippi State has run its course. Yes, consistently wins 20+ games a year. Yes, we get the the tournament most years. But, I just cannot sit by and watch the systematic breakdown of a program because the coach is not willing to do his job. He has no emotion. No drive. He has gotten lazy. We need a coach that can light a fire under the players asses. Get them jacked up for a game against a lowly Arkansas. We have lost the last 2 games not because our talent has gone down, but because they have ZERO enthusiasm. The job of a coach is to educate and to get the team fired up to play. This team gets so relaxed because he allows it. He has no heart and no emotion over there. I'm starting to believe that Kodi Augustus acts out to get people jacked up and excited.
With that being said... I know my voice won't be heard and this is just ramblings, but there has got to be some sort of change. I can't sit here and watch this guy coach our team to another unrealized dream. You saw how hyped up we were based on the fact that we were pre-season #18 and lose to an unranked Rider and drop to like #50. Shows no one really thought we were that good, but had returned our starters from a SEC championship team.
