for the love of god, please throw 5 solid innings tomorrow.

I think we will get a good outing from him tomorrow. He has been really unfortunate in his last few outings. He has given up a lot of seeing eye singles, infield hits, and had a lot of errors made behind him. Plus, Cohen has had a rested bullpen that can be used at the first sign of trouble on a Sunday usually...but he won't have that tomorrow. So Lindgren will go in to the game knowing that he will not be on a short leash, and hopefully that enables him to relax and get in a groove. I'm thinking he gives us 6 strong tomorrow.

Eat your 17ing Wheaties tomorrow, Jacob.

He's our only hope. The bullpen is depleted right now. I think we have Gentry,

Fitts, Shelly and Evan Mitchell left. I'm sure others could throw on a limited basis depending on the situation.

Um... not really...

Holder- probably not... threw 35 pitches last night... but only threw something like 15 Thursday... but still could come in for an out or two
Pollo- not
Graveman- not

Lindgren- Starting
Bracewell- available
Girodo- probably Available (limited... 25 pitches max)
R. Mitchell- Available (threw 6 pitches last night)
CT- Available
Norris (I'd be ok with him coming in again if the situation deemed necessary... he left a slider up, but SC had been laying off first pitches all night... and got the next batter out)- available
Cox- Available
Fitts- Available
Shelly- Available

Our fans sure do love to ride the emotional wave... look at the facts... we have a lot of our bullpen available today.

No... he told Jim postgame he PROBABLY would not pitch today...

that he threw 35 pitches last night, but said Holder told him in the dugout he felt good. However, common sense says he will not be used except in a very limited role, if that.

Hey, Jacob, if you're reading ...........................................

Could you go ahead and pitch the f'n game of your life please? We sort of need you to take the game out of the hands of our mf'n wizard of a coach. I half expect to see Henderson in relief if you F up.

Big difference in "fresh" and "available". If you've ever pitched, you know that you are nowhere near as fresh and strong after pitching the day before. No matter what you're used to doing. That's why Holder wasn't as sharp last night in my opinion. We will probably see Ross, Girodo, and Bracewell if needed today, but none of them will be "fresh".

I heard he walked into the dugout after the first inning last week and told Cohen his shoulder is 17'd up, which lead Holder to come in at relief cold. I think a summer to rehab his ankle and shoulder will do him wonders. People just need to give him a break. When he's healthy he's one of our best pitchers.
