by following Penn State. Their women's volleyball team has won three straight national championships and 102 straight matches. It is now the longest winning streak in all women's college sports historyand 2nd longest winning streak in all of college sports (Miami Men's Tennis, 137 straight matches from 1957-1964). Reaching that would require being undefeated through all of the next regular season and deep into the next NCAA tourney (PSU was 38-0 last season). </p>

I don't care to spend a bunch of time following tennis no matter where we are ranked. I do find it sad how much men's tennis discussion we have on our boards though, and it's in direct relation to the fact that our fans are so desperate for a winner they'll cling to anything that has success.

If we had a disc golf national title like you did, I guarantee the Spirit board would be posting updates on disc golf during the season.

I only know because I live in Jackson and know that they play here every year. I only looked on live stats, saw that we had a 3-1 lead over Ole Miss after taking 10 minutes to figure out how the heck they score the thing. I almost posted something about upsetting Ole Miss in tennis, but fortunately, my vast post count and message board skills saved me some mild embarassment when I found out that State had indeed choked the match away.
