your services are no longer required by the SEC. Please take your crooked *** somewhere else. Your refs have protected your one seed, congratulations (along with your two BCS teams during football season). Unless you can use some of your crooked tactics to get us into the field of 64, you screwed us out of it by protecting Kentucky. You're really not that smart of a businessman, are you? Leave. Now.

That is all.

fouls....we had the game there. The refs also did not keep us from making 2 rebounds. I just don't see it in this game.

...no excuses, as jay williams just said. i mean really, jay williams and duke never make an excuse for losing - theyovercome the refereeseverygame.

if we'd have just made everything we threw up, it wouldn't come down to a lane violation "for the win".

in OT when Cousins arm-barred Jarvis, hooked him, then literally dragged him down to the floor and Valentine literally stepped over them to continue down the court. We got ***-raped AGAIN.

I thought conference commissioners were supposed to promote their teams on the bubble, not throw them under the bus

whether or not slive had any say so in the bad officiating is another thing...

somebody did that's for sure... we were 17'd by the refs in both ot losses to those bastards...

and it IS a worthy topic and missing free throws has nothing to do with it..

They could have called a foul either way. I think the ref did the right thing just letting play continue.

but i have a hard time blaming guys for missing them as tired as their legs must've been at that point. especially varnado. he plays more minutes than any big man should. he played his *** off for three straight days, so i can forgive him for missing those free throws. but it's fairly obvious to anyone who's been paying attention over the last two years that the "new SEC" is built around protecting its big boys in order to keep the national attention. Come on man, Lane Kiffin is a dumbass, but even he called that one correctly after Bama robbed Tennessee.

by the refs. I think we had a chance to win and didn't do it. Slive is a different story....he obviously didn't promote us very well. Calipari sure did.<div>
</div><div>What does it gain the SEC for us NOT to win today? nothing. This game was not fixed by refs.</div>

but it was despite the officials. The lane violation. The Orton tackle of Jarvis. The foul on the Jarvis dunk that was missed. Those are just the first few I can think of. We didn't lose because of the refs, but they made several horrible calls late in regulation and in OT. If you can't see that, then you either didn't watch the game, or you are trying wayyyyyy too hard to be objective.

I went back on the dvr just so i could cuss out the refs for missing the jarvis/orton tackle...but jarvis totally grabs orton and brings him down. The refs weren't great, but the sec refs have sucked all year. There were plenty of no calls that went both ways for both teams. You can name some of the calls that went uk's way but there were plenty of times our guys knocked them down with no call being made. This was on hell of a physical game and msu showed that they wont back down, and they def deserve to be in the tourny. In the end uk made the plays and we missed our clutch free throws.

At the end of regulation we shot 9 FTs, UK shot 18. I mean come on they doubled us up on attempts??? I will agree we totally screwed the pooch by not making some more of those FTs or a shot or 2 here or there to lock up the win. But I loathe when refs don't do their job and call the game down the middle. Enough bitching though, we win a few more of those early games in the season and we're not in this situation. At the end of the day though, the tip-in to send it to OT was a heck of a play on their part which sets apart good teams (MSU) from GREAT teams (UK).
