You are right in that we are the worst team, but it ain't like State beat the "BEST" team in the SEC, either.

Not only that, but we split the season series with the worst team in the SEC.

Bottom line, we're not a very good team. We're on track to travel to someone's regional as a 2 or 3 seed this year, which would be a huge disappointment for a team that started out pre-season Top 5 in most polls.

We already have way too many bad losses to end up a host.

Plus, doesn't ole miss still have to travel to South Carolina, Georgia and Kentucky. If so, thats ridicuously tough.

Using the patented Ron Polk path to success I see. This way your players won't have all that pressure from huge home crowds on their shoulders.

anything short of a world series birth would be a disappointment after the early season accolades you guys were receiving. apparently the talking heads had you a bit overrated but i can't blame them because the components for a lot of wins appear to be on the OM team.

I don't disagree with you. We had 2 freshmen All-Americans returning, two weekend starters who have been projected as top draft picks, and a line up that was expected to be much improved from the previous year.

Bottom line, we were either way overrated, or our guys are way underachieving. I'm not sure which it is, but you're right. Anything short of the CWS would be a disappointment. It's still not out of the realm of possibility, but it's going to be tough, especially because we'll likely have to travel to get there.
