There are tons of "college" type bands that they could get, but Train isn't one of them. And Pearl Jam ain't coming to Starkville. They are a wee but too big for that now.

I think they should make an attempt to get My Morning Jacket. If that doesn't work then go for Modest Mouse, Black Keys, Wilco, MGMT, Moe(again), Umphrey's McGee, Gov't Mule and etc. There are tons of good bandsthat they could afford.If they don't want to get one big-time act, then they should get The Felice Brothers, Avett Brothers, Pretty Lights, and bands like that.

Either way, they need to get bands that college kids actually listen to. Instead, they seem determined to get the most generic **** ever.

Like 3rdEB last year I still think we could get them. Also MGMT I don't see that but my morning jacket their song I'm amazed kicks *** or I could see old crow medicine show

And with the exception of wbc40, not many people were ecstatic about Third Eye Blind. Although I will give him credit, his enthusiasm was contagious.
