Forget what the sportswriters say about you...you'll always be Vanderbilt.

The funny thing is, at the end of the Vandy-Arkansas game when Vandy played for OT instead of trying to get the TD to win and their kicker lined up for a tying FG that wasn't much more than an extra point, I thought "They're Vandy. He'll miss."

Only Mississippi State's close losses count as signs of improvement. Not yours.

Started recruiting like no one has ever come close to at vandy. They are much improved over last year. I don't expect him to be there long

You only got offers from Vandy, Kansas, Ark St, Jax St, and Tulane. You are not supposed to be good.

Even if they lose today, they still end the season with UT and Wake Forest, which are both winnable games right now and could get them bowl eligible. No matter who they play in the SEC, them getting bowl eligibleto mewarrants Franklin discussion for SEC Coach of the Year. People thought they would win 2 games this year. They already have 4, could have beatenArkansas and UGA, and still could beat UF.

Right now, I would rather play UK, OM, or UT right now instead of Vandy. That's saying a lot for a team that has been a perennial doormat. They play with a ton of energy and excitement, and it's fun to watch. In a year where the bottom of the SEC is terrible, it's good for them to be playing well so we don't necessarily lose all of our bowl tie ins. Good chance only 8 SEC teams get to a bowl, assuming we beat UT Martin and OM. If they can get 6 wins, they give us a 9th bowl team and more money, which I like.

They could end up at 7 and 5 possibly. That's insane to me. And again, they still have a shot in this UF game.
