Plays like this alone are reasons that Croom should be fired.. I honestly believe that sometimes he has never seen a football game before coming here..

when he declined that penalty I almost went into orbit. Who doesn't take the penalty and have 2 downs to get 2-3 yards. Instead we have one play to get in. Everyone knew we were going up the gut, including the mlb that was unblocked on the play and met the rb head on at the los.

Croom just doesnt get it.

anywhere else on the field, would you rather have 3rd and 1 or 2nd and 2-3? There are tons of things you can do on 2nd and short, whether you're at the goal line or at midfield.

we could run a play that doesn't take the ball 5 yards back off the line of scrimmage to try and gain 2 feet. That DRIVES ME CRAZY. Apparently, we are incapable of pulling off a QB sneak. Hell, put Relf in there to bull the line forward. But DON'T take the ball back 5 yards off the line when you only have to gain 2 feet.

Also, note to Croom: Do NOT bootleg your QB around the end that Michael Johnson is lined up on . There is about a 0.00% chance of that play succeeding.
