Deep Run Hurting

I ask that you please keep the Deep Run football program, community and family of Gabe Henderson in your thoughts and prayers as they come to terms with their loss. If you did not hear last night, Gabe who would be a senior this coming season lost his life in a tragic accident.

Big things were on the horizon for this young man on and off the field.

We are reminded daily be it a virus, disease or unfortunate accident such as this just how precious life is.

My thoughts and prayers are with the Wildcats.

I think Varina said it best on twitter... We are all Wildcats at this time.

There are no words that can even begin to describe the sadness of a child being lost. I can only hope and pray that the family and friends take a small measure of comfort in the heartfelt sympathy of the entire community.
