Defender Stargate Alert: Has anyone played NBA 2k11 on either XBox or PS3?

Basketball games notoriously suck but I have heard this one was pretty good. Any opinions?</p>

I have it for the 360 and the overall game play is fun but I usually play in My Player mode which is basically a mode like the Road to Glory for NCAA Football. It's pretty hard and it's time consuming so I don't play it much but I enjoy it

It is a hard game, but after you get the hang of it you will love it. I'm not a big nba fan but this game has kinda turned me into one. But yeah best sports game since NFL2K5 and NHL 94.....and maybe NBA JAM

a buddy and i decided to get 2k11 on sale recently and must say, i am very very underwhelmed. i know that there is supposedly a pretty huge learning curve i guess, but after a couple weeks we still struggle to even get premier players to cut to the hole when they have a wide open lane. like you it's been years since i got a basketball game cause they do suck, but my friend talked me into it since i could get it for $35 and the reviews were so good. unless you are a huge basketball fan and wanna put in time to practice to perfect simple acts like driving down a clear lane, probably worth passing on.

fifa is still by far the best sports game series imo.

easily one of, if not the best, NBA games that has been made. I wouldn't say it is the best sports game of all time though.

My player mode is awesome. It's time consuming but really fun.<div>
</div><div>The Jordan Challenge makes the game even better. Playing with Jordan (or with the other classic teams) is really fun if you're just playing a Play Now game with a friend.</div><div>
</div><div>Caveat: Learning curve is pretty steep. Playing My Player mode will help you learn how though because you only have to worry about your responsibilities (instead of the whole team).</div><div>

I have always been a huge fan of NBA 2k games. MLB 2k is pretty awesome as well.

SG 3pt guy overall a 66. I like playing online as well 5 on 5 and the rosters are up to the min...Melo was on the knicks that night.
