Defense Seems Slow to Me

It simply doesn't look like they want to hit people. The secondary doesn't seem to want to pop anyone. They are waiting for someone else to make a play. I hate cover 2.

with several sec players having been suspended for big hits this year, it wouldn't surprise me if the coaches have encouraged defensive players to play it VERY safe in these games so that a big hit against south alabama doesn't cost us a starting defensive player in a sec game.
