I have a feeling, and I hope I am wrong, but this coaching staff don't really know how to evaluate talent. Especially defensive talent.
Living off jucos trying to compete in the SEC is an obsolete strategy. The portal ended that.

I guess we will see. How many of last years JUCO guys turned out to be starters for us this year ? Jennings has played a good bit. I honestly can't name anyone else that contributed. Surely I am wrong. I hope they are not counting on signing double digit juco guys working out for us. I'm sure our coaches are smarter than me but I'm concerned about their plans. Over the last few years I have seen the " #1 juco guy" not pan out in the SEC and if I'm not mistaken none of these guys are #1 at their respective positions
We need to hire some veteran coaches to do evaluations/work the portal.

Our defense worries me more than any part of our team. While I can see some flashes of offensive talent in our ranks and in our coaching staff, all I see in our defense is our end.
