Looks like he really did lose his "in" with the program. Oh well.

Why don't we just suspend the entire program??? 17ing ridiculous, and it really is becoming laughable at this point!!

I am here. You get one thing right and then you gloat like hell. It won't matter who plays though, we should have cancelled the season and started again next year. Just remember, I said we couldn't win over 9 and that was before all the injuries and suspensions. I still think we have a chance with Vandy and Auburn at home but you have been strangely silent about how awful this league is this year. You harped on that every day when Stans won the title and the SEC Tourneys. Outside of Fla, the rest are pretty average.

So, you are gloating about outlandish circumstances causing a prediction come true? Basically, we are better than you thought we would be? How many would we have won had we remained healthy? Two healthy(true) point guards would be worth at least a couple more.

but you have been strangely silent about how awful this league is this year. You harped on that every day when Stans won the title and the SEC Tourneys. Outside of Fla, the rest are pretty average.
Why harp on the quality of the competition when we are worse? Some were putting Stans on a pedestal for accomplishments that didn't even get us in a 64 team tournament at times. There was validity in questioning the scheduling when we were repeatedly on the wrong side of the bubble.

Why can we not let this Stansbury bs go? This year sucks. Everyone knew it would. It would have with Stans as well. Logic dictates that we won't know what Ray is like as a recruiter until the class of 2014(his first full recruiting cycle, since the c/o 2013 signed 7 mo after he took the job and the c/o 2012 was already signed) -- and we should have a pretty good idea about him as a coach after next season. We can base almost nothing on this year. Literally everyone that can look at this with logic devoid of emotion can see this...

What am I missing? Is it that everyone feels they have to get their punches in on 34 before the team has the opportunity to prove him right longterm? Because anything else(even if you are right Geezer and we can't get back to Stans' levels) will be determined over a period of time...and it certainly is ridiculous to jump to a conclusion EITHER way at this point...

I know Ron Polk was the best baseball coach we ever had... led us to incredible heights... and he split the fanbase down the middle in how he left. Does anyone still feel like we made the incorrect choice on that one? Not saying that the Ray hire works out that well at all -- it may not... but there are situational similarities aplenty

My bet is with the Johnson suspension already announced, Steele will play the next game.

More similar to Sherrill/Croom than Polk/Cohen......except Stans was still winning. Just sayin'. But remember, I don't really give a **** about basketball anyway.

How?

Polk was one yr removed from the CWS. He had "quit winning"?

Because so many around here have been burned over the years- they try to get shots in when they can. Geezer has so many burn marks he doesnt know which way is up. But you dont see Geezer making cracks about Cohen anymore like he used to- and in time he wont be able to make cracks about Ray either- provided he lives a couple more years
