..I know it's not Sugarland, but De Luna Fest in Pensacola Beach is headlining with Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, and Dwight Yoakam. It is the same week as South Alabama but I think I'm gonna have to stay put and see several of the greatest musicians in the past twenty years perform.

they went out and went older bands/very top-heavy. Looks like it will work out for them. Also the move to September distances them from their biggest competition (Voodoo)

If you want the winner of festivals though check out Outside Land's announcement Tuesday.

Pearl Jam and The Foo Fighters are washed up, you are obviously not into good music. McReedy is one of the best guitarist ever and still shreds. Grohl can shred too, not to mention his drum play.

All I am saying is stop acting like they are top notch. Foo Fighters are very talented but unfortunately they are money hungry sell-out song writers. Pearl Jam will always be good. I probably shouldn't have included them. But neither one is anything to make you say, "deluna knows how to do it"

is one of the greatest bands of our generation and they could be playing at the Shucker's crawfish boil and it would automatically make it a big deal.

I've seen literally hundreds of live music sets, with bands ranging from the good (Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, Foo Fighters, Rolling Stones, Bob Seger, James Brown), the bad (Live, New Kids on the Block, N'Sync) and the ugly (Creed, Nickelback, Seether). I've seen some great indie bands as well in my time. Pearl Jam and the Foo Fighters both make my top 5 list for best live performances. And the Foo Fighters have certainly not "sold out". Their latest album was bashed by many critics as catering too much to "traditionalists and purists".

It was ITunes album of the year, won a Grammy, and sold well. How again is that washed up? Grohl almost quit the Foo Fighters to be in Queens of the Stoneage when Foo Fighters were one of the biggest acts in the world. How is that a sellout. I love how in order to be a "cool" band nobody can like you. Led Zeppelin, Stones,Beatles, Aerosmith all suck. Radiohead is great. By the way all the hotel rooms are already booked in Pensacola Beach so Deluna Fest DOES get it.

Have been the best bands I've seen live. Talk about rocking your socks off, they were amazing. We should have got one of those bands for SBW instead of Sugarland. Haven't seen Foo Fighters live though.

I don't understand why you put down every band but won't name your favorite bands? Do you like any band?
