there has been quite a bit of discussion on here about how much suffering will be generated by Medicaid cuts.
Just to create a level field of discussion, seems as if democrat governors in California, Illinois and Minnesota are ending their Medicaid programs for those in the country illegally. They have discovered that the program costs money that they don't have. I believe there are about 4-5 more states that provide Medicaid for undocumented migrants. It will be interesting to see if since the stigma of cutting aid has been broken they follow suit.
As I've posted before, states have the ability to pick up any additional fees for people that they deem need Medicaid coverage. But no matter how many ways you slice it, in the end money comes into the equation.
