I wouldn't mind if they just went ahead and acted too cool for the Egg Bowl from here on out. If only we could convince LSU to feel the same way when they play us.

I agree with this. I don't care what they say about it. As far as I'm concerned, they can keep saying this **** every year after they get their asses whipped. And all the sidewalk fans over on NAFOOM and the spirit can keep the narrative alive.

Meanwhile, we all know that there is nothing they hate more than losing to us. That hate is what brings out so much of the ugliness. And I'm glad we play out of hate. That's how it should be damnit. I saw a post on NAFOOM today about how close we were to losing Chris Jones to them, which is high comedy. How can anyone watch him jump up and throw up the fin mocking Ole Miss and actually think he had thoughts of joining that crew? Our players hate Ole Miss up and down the roster - and that's the way it should be.

Isn't that something coaches preach and coach all of the time? You have to want

Isn't that something coaches preach and coach all of the time? You have to want it more than the guy in front of you.

How is this a bad thing?

Just more smoke screens to mask the pain, it eats them up and I love it!

What a bunch of stupid propaganda. These dubmasses are prolonging the loss by continuing with the rhetoric they are spewing. This is great, I love it. Landshark baby!!!! Haaaaaaa

Hugh say he's lying......

after 2012 Egg Bowl:
"“I know how important it is to this state and to our University, and our kids were very aware of that tonight,” Freeze said. “I think our coaches did a great job of going through the week and making sure that whether a kid was from Tennessee or Alabama or Florida or Illinois or California that they better understand that the University of Mississippi has signed them on and is paying for their scholarship here and that this game is important. Our kids proved that tonight.”

Well, see, they forgot to clue in the kids from Georgia....

Exactly. That's a much worse thing for them to admit to than just getting beat. If you admit that the other team "wanted it more" you're just admitting that you have no heart and will quit when the going gets tough.

Its basically the definition of being a true competitor. If the other guys says he wants it more, its my job to prove he doesn't.

It appears we ruined their season but all will be well once they win the

recruiting trophy again and again and again and again.

Whoa ...

Nice video ... especially liked these ... "How it felt when the fans rushed the field" (1:33) "getting the eggbowl back where it belongs" (1:46) "knowing we were on a mission" (2:13)

But the classic was ... "during the game I got in Coach Mullins face and told him it was our game (3:02)

Nice case of amnesia.

I think the fact he didn't even watch the 2011 Egg Bowl when he was redshirting says a lot about the caliber of people they're recruiting. How the hell do you not even watch ANY game that your team is playing when you're on the team? No matter who it's against.

It's not that big a deal. I know I saw Antonio Hargro getting off the elevator in a freshman dorm during a game the year that I think he ended up getting a 'medical redshirt' for. He wasn't watching the game, but his eyes were pretty red, so I'm guessing that's what the injury was, like a severe form of pink eye or something so he was probably under doctor's order to stay in the dorm to the extent possible. Point being, I seriously doubt that not even caring to watch your team play is any indication of how dedicated you will be to that team.

Yeah- anybody that's an athlete that tells you, "I don't really get what the big deal is" about any game is either lying or not worth having IMO. Seems it's #1 in his case.

Getting in the opposing coach's face? C'mon, man. Who really does that?
