I don't hate Ole Miss. If all OM fans were like some of the guys that posted over here then you could say that.

So if we take that scholly and upgrade....

will that also "fall on Mullen."

We need to change the name of this board from Sixpack to Cliffjumpers.

It's interesting that you automatically assume it's Saban going after Mix. Logic would tell me it's probably Gus, but maybe you're right. If Mix ends up going to Bama and being productive, I guess we can say Victory and Hugh Freeze missed on him.

That's cool and you'll never see me come here looking for a fight; though sometimes I will defend OM when things are really out of whack. But usually it's not worth the effort.

Saban must not have heard Victory Red's assessment that he can't play;)

HA! Yeah right. It's Auburn, not Bama. Just gonna go ahead and say that Gus is gonna be problem going forward. According to my source, he's already put a bullseye on Dan's back as someone he can compete against immediately for recruits. He knows that Auburn's fallen a long way from a few years ago and he's just trying to expand their piece of the SEC West pie. With A&M & Mizzou, his geographic region has shifted west a little. Don't be surprised if we're in a lot of 1 on 1 battles against him in the next 2-3 years. Hopefully we can hang.

Yes he did not handle the ucla thing very well but I don't know if that was a ploy or not, surely Heavsey isn't that dumb.

You have to admit that making a big deal about the hoodie was over the top. No need to threaten the kids chance of playing football. It's not the reputation you want with players and high school coaches.

He then told him, after further evaluation, that he didn't warrant a spot. That's when the whole "I love MSU" talk started. Looks like Mullen finally figured the same thing out.

I spit my drink on my computer screen when I read this. Do they pay people to come over here and post ridiculous **** like this?

Two scholarships for two years and probation for secondary recruiting violations. It's really double secret right now.

Mix was in Starkville last weekend

I think the UCLA trip was last weekend. Mix just thought it would be cool to go to California. After which, Coach lost his damn mind and did some stupid ****.

For you to know so much, you think you would have known that.

Best Explaination I have read so far is:

The coaches asked him to redshirt. Is this why he decommitt?

I don't need to reread or retread your three points. You're convinced Mullen is at fault without seeing the end.

"He knows that Auburn's fallen a long way from a few years ago and he's just trying to expand their piece of the SEC West pie."

auburn had a real bad year last year. Otherwise over the last 3, they won a national championship, and had a couple 8-5 years. I wouldn't call that falling. Speaking directly at last year, yes.

Their recruiting ranking according to rivals the last 5 years are:
2009-#19
2010-#4
2011-#7
2012-#10
2013-#7 (yet to be fulfilled)

I am going to go out on a limb and say they have plenty of talent.
