I'm not sure this is true. An undrafted FA gets a contract and according to google search - he didn't even practice yesterday.

ETA - I have no idea how all this works. Looks like undrafted FA sign contracts and if you get cut - the cost is minimal to that team.

I agree. I don't think they'd sign him to 7th round money at this point in time. Not this early. We haven't even had a preseason game yet.

If he makes the 53 man, this will effectively be what he gets though.
