Yeah, we moved Brandon Adams out to DE this year which I have my doubts about. If he was quick enough to play DE, I think he would have been at DE already. I'd imagine he's back inside next year when PJ Jones and Eulls graduate.

thoughts on Griffin as #2 RB?

Think it is giving him props in this first game, or has he earned that spot? I'd love to see him have a great year, probably my favorite guy on the team.

I say the total opposite. I'd rather have someone shift like Tubby fielding punts but someone faster than him returning kicks.

thoughts on the OL?

I think we're deep everywhere except the OL. Hope I'm wrong, but I'm worried about the OL (and depth) as I'm sure everybody else is.

I'm honestly surprised he wasn't listed as a co-#1 with Robinson. He's had a very good summer/fall, but I'm hesitant to get overly excited about him. Everyone keeps saying "He's 100%!", but I think that means he's 100% relative to a guy who's had two major knee injuries.

He will always go down as one of the biggest "what might have beens" for me. That dude is a monster, and a talented runner. But there are only so many major injuries one can overcome.

Generally, I would agree, shifty is good. But I would rather have someone who could field punts fielding punts. Tubby is not that person. I appreciate his skill set, but 1) he muffs too many punts 2) he makes bad decisions (see TSUN right before half last year; ball was clearly going in the endzone and he fair-catches it at the 5 and you know what ensued four plays later), and 3) he averaged something like 3 yards a return last year (although "1" and "2" are much more important than "3" to me).

The last I heard he was still learning the offense and could be really good once he does.

You nailed it. Except Jameon averaged 2.2 yards per punt return last year, not 3. He's just a terrible punt returner. He's at least serviceable on kickoff returns.

I have heard Nick is doing very well like the others are saying. Hope he can

stay healthy and have a big year. I saw glimpses of his burst last year.

I agree he makes me nervous on punts he seems to have to make too many last

second adjustments on the catch which is dangerous.

I don't know if that's as true as it once was, at least with respect to ACL injuries. I think it's an issue that you lose out on the opportunity to develop, but it seems like players come back from ACL injuries now and are the same player after a year or two. Not sure if it's the same for football RB's but it definitely seems to be that way for basketball players.

What are the bolded names? Walk-ons? I know Beckwith and the kickers started off as walk-ons but was thinking cleveland was offered a scholarship.
