From Tri-County Academy in Flora. He is 6'3" and about 200 pounds. He committed and will be in our class next year.
He hit .488 with seven home runs and was 2-0 with a 2.33 ERA on the mound as a sophomore. We're looking at him as a dual position guy for us. I think he is a corner infield/outfield guy for us, and I think he will have a chance to be a starting pitcher as well. His fastball right now tops out at 88-89.
He will be one of the top juniors in the state next year- we have a commitment from Reid Humphries who I think is the top junior next year. So, our 2013 baseball class is off to a pretty good start- two dual position type guys.
