I'll take Josh Robinson as a late selection.

Not because Coach crowned him as the best RB we have or whatever, but because of the crowd entertainment he provided while awaiting JSU's kickoff late in the second half Saturday. For those that missed it, he decided to "wobble it" on the field, in kick return formation, while waiting for the end of the TV timeout. Hilarious. Plus he knew he was on the jumbotron. And then he motioned for the crowd to get into it.

The thing that kills me about the RB debate

I went to 5 spring practices and got a good luck at all of them in person. My opinion stays the same: Perkins is our best running back by far and Derrick Milton was the best w/the ball out of the rest. He is a natural runner, reminds me of Dicenzo with more speed. His only issue was ball security. When Milton came out 2nd it made me feel much more sane because it was apparent who ran better in practice, minus the fumbe-itis in 1 spring practice.

Edit** my title makes no sense. I don't even remember what direction I was going for and edit won't let you change a title**

we are also seeing (and will continue to) why Griffin is the 4th best RB on the roster at this time. I can't believe I just typed that because prior to his injury, many people
thought NG would be a beast for us (and he may still be one day).

But damn, our RB depth is good. We can pound or burn...whichever is needed or open. Milton is a STUD.

Milton definitely looks the part, and think he has a great future. However, I am not yet sold on his explosion or speed. He out ran the JSU defense to the end zone the other day, but for some reason I was looking for an extra gear that never happened.

Wish we could have seen him run before the injury to have a frame of reference but starting to worry about him. He's a full 18 months out from the surgery and his knee injury, while serious, wasn't thought to be nearly as serious as a lot of RBs have over their career. I mean Lattimore is back in pretty good shape and starting and he is only around 10 months out from his surgery. Biggest thing to me watching the game Saturday is that Griffin looks a little slow in acceleration from the handoff to hitting the line. Don't know if that is a result from the injury or the way he has always been.

If you trust Robinson's speed, you trust Milton's. The only running back we have that ran a better 40 this summer than Milton is Perkins.

Same here, to me Milton looks bigger and faster than Robinson

It was late in the fourth, but he looked the part.
