Well, I don't think 2Adulterers has posted like 5 to 6 times in the same thread without intervening posts, like some kind of madman/a.k.a., the Zipper on the redbird forum.

But I personally hope Jackson wins the Heisman, so we don't have to hear crybaby talk from the media approaching next year's game about how he got screwed.

Yes he did the Heisman pose, which about every kid has done since Rocket at Notre Dame, 25 years ago, but that doesn't make him a bad person on the level of Petrino and Pitino.

Doesn't make him a bad person at all. Just a judgement error. I'm not sure anyone has ever done the pose in a rivalry game on the first touchdown! Even the tv commentators took issue with it.

Think Heisman award is based on this season performance. If I had a vote it would be for Jackson. If not my vote would go to Fournette or Stanford All American running back/receiver/kick returner!

Why Fournette? He may be the most talented player in college but he didn't have a good year, at all, based on stats. I'd still spend a high pick on him if I was an NFL GM but he wouldn't have made my ballot if i was a Heisman voter.

I hate Lewdville with a purple passion or anything related to them. I do not like there players on any team,BB,FB,WBB,MBB. I do not want to see any one on either team win any award period. If I were voting it would be Watson in a run away. he is by far the best qb this year or last year. Jackson is a good player but not a great qb like everyone seems to think. He is a great runner and is very hard to tackle.
As far as coaches as someone earlier talked about. I can't stand Petino, did not like him while at UK. He is a good coach but is a despicable human being. He looks down on poor people and is a pompous ***. Petrino is just like all us have said in the past. A prick without a head, thinks he is smarter than everyone else, especially football. Glad he is not here, although he is still a very good coach. Before Stoops was mentioned I kinda liked him over most of the coaches mentioned for the job. But I am so glad he is not here, to much baggage to carry around for the UK job.

Take everything you said bad about UL and triple it and that's how bad I dislike them. But my dislike for UL doesn't cloud the fact that Jackson is a tremendous talent and should win the Heisman trophy. He may or may not be a good pro. He may even fall on his face next year in college. But this year he's exceptional. I hate to say it but it's true. He's going to win in a runaway. I'm just glad we beat them especially with Jackson having a bad game. I hope we drill them again next year but that kid is the real deal.

I don't think you should win the Heisman when you commit 4 turnovers in a home loss to your biggest rival who was a 28 pt dog.

But that's just me.

They crowned him after Fla. State game
..nothing can be done about it now
It will be close between Jackson and Watson it could go either way as they both had their good and bad games. I don't think any of the other 3 finalist have much of a chance.

The OP should have waited until around 9pm Thursday and did a little research before making this thread....the ACC Coaches earlier the same day named Jackson the ACC Player of the year and 1st Team All ACC QB...the ACC media did the same earlier this week...Jackson won the Walter Camp Award-(last 3 winners went on to win the Heisman)...Jackson was named 1st Team All American and of course he won the Maxwell Award.

Not a bad haul for the starting QB for the University of Louisville...by 9pm tonight it will be over and most expect it will be Jackson...kid had a hellva year as did DeShaun Watson the Davey O'Brien Trophy winner.

Seriously, are you still debating this? Who gives a crap?

How many times do you think you have re-worded the same information about Jackson on this board?

Lets not forget that he's a kid... I liked how he handled the end of the game...I like how the entire UL football team handled the loss... It didn't used to be that way.... Anyway, I can't deny that Larar deserved the award and I would like to congratulate the kid....

Exactly...if Snell wins the Doak Walker or even a Heisman I would be happy for the young man and UK...Really like the respect and shouts out by the Kentucky Football players after he won the trophy last night. Here is the link

Freeeman and Pumphrey had amazing stat lines and, yet, no one thought they had a shot at the Heisman. RBs have to be on championship caliber teams these days to be recognized for the Heisman. Snell is a back that would interest NFL GMs. Not college award voters. MAYBE the Walker, never the Heisman.
